A couple of weeks ago, The Economist, in an article on Argentina, said,  A century ago….for the young and ambitious the choice between Argentina and California was a hard one.

I am surely glad that my grandparents, Johanna von Borstal and Otto Rambowski – later know as Bambow and Paul Rambow, to us kids – made the right choice.
